Deaf Ministries Advisory Committee (DMAC)

Our mission is to provide spiritual and educational opportunities and resources for families that have deaf children.

DMAC came forward when several families with deaf children came together seeking support. Faced with issues, such as how to learn sign language and how to connect with other families with deaf children, these people formed a group to provide encouragement and resources to families.

Many families with deaf children face challenges, such as once parents find out their child is hearing impaired what do they do, how to sign books to their children, how to handle hearing aids, how to address education needs of deaf kids in church and school? The goal of DMAC is to assist families to address these questions.

DMAC is affiliated and supported by Goshen College Mennonite Church and Anabaptist Deaf Ministries .
